Meet Dr. Kamal Addagatla
Dr. Addagatla is a double board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with fellowship training in Breast Reconstructive Microsurgery from Yale New Haven Hospital. A Cornell University graduate, he earned his medical degree from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo and completed his general surgery residency at Stamford Hospital, an affiliate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, followed by plastic surgery residency at Cooper University Hospital. This training gives him a rare depth of subspecialty expertise in complex reconstructive techniques.
Surgical Services
Breast surgery is a central focus of Dr. Addagatla’s practice. He offers advanced breast cancer reconstruction using implant-based, autologous, and oncoplastic techniques, including microsurgical DIEP flap reconstruction, along with breast reduction, aesthetic breast surgery, and breast revision. For appropriate breast cancer patients, he also performs immediate lymphatic reconstruction at the time of axillary lymph node dissection, a technique that may help reduce the risk of lymphedema.
Beyond breast surgery, Dr. Addagatla offers a full range of body contouring procedures, including tummy tuck, mommy makeover, post-bariatric body procedures such as thigh lift and arm lift, liposuction, and male breast reduction.
